Institution

University of Canberra

The integration of robotic systems with artificial intelligence (AI) will produce a new generation of workers and companions; it is no longer the "stuff" of science fiction, but rather a scientific reality! This niche major in Intelligent Robotics will exploit the synergies between these two areas. The major will offer a grounding in intelligent systems and the chance to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. The students will have the opportunity to have an intensive, extended work-integrated learning experience, in addition to the capstone project, which will allow them to hone their practical expertise in AI and robotics engineering.
