Robotics Australia Group is excited to announce the launch of the 3rd edition of the Robotics Roadmap for Australia. Taking place in February 2025, the launch night will be held in conjunction with the inaugural Excellence in Robotics Awards. These awards honour and celebrate the groundbreaking work being done in the field of robotics across Australia.
Robotics Australia CEO Nicci Rossouw says both of these initiatives represent significant milestones for Robotics Australia Group and celebrate the progress in both the promotion and advancement of the robotics industry in Australia.
"I’d like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the chapter workshops for the Roadmap. Your valuable insights and experience helped shape the content of the chapters," she says.
The Roadmap aims to raise the profile of robotics in Australia, identify the challenges and opportunities available for robotics in Australia, and highlight our accomplishments in the creation and application of robotics technologies, explains Rossouw.
“The ultimate goal of the roadmap is to create an ecosystem that supports the robotics talent and technology we develop to remain here in Australia and build global capability.”
Combining the launch of the Roadmap with the Excellence in Robotics Awards is intended to help foster community and enhance relationships with the robotics community, says Rossouw.
“These awards are dedicated to recognising the pioneers and innovators who are pushing the boundaries of technology, transforming industries, and making significant contributions to the future of robotics.
Whether you're an established company, a start-up or a researcher, Robotics Australia Group invites you to share your success stories and case studies of robot implementation. This is your opportunity to showcase how your work has impacted efficiency, innovation, and excellence in the field.
